Grocery Aisle Re-Invention
In 2019, McCormick’s sales and marketing teams agreed to partner with grocery retailers nationwide to deliver an Aisle Reinvention for Spices & Extracts, McCormick’s highest grossing product category. Their goal was to help drive shop-ability, increase consumer understanding and ease aisle navigation by virtue of a re-imagined shelf orchestration.
After 6 months of conceptual development, our team at IDL designed and engineered a modular header system supported by colorful and dynamic visual language via way-finding graphics to spark inspiration and provide thoughtful product differentiation for the consumer. Aisle Re-inventions go-live in 8,000+ grocery stores in 2020-21.
